Following the project, here we collected all the results of the project. We collected articles, posts on social media and other products that some of the partners developed at the end of the mobility. It also shed light on the idea that effectiveness comes with connecting and working together. Sharing and exchanging ideas with partners that have worked for so many different social projects before was an amazing experience that taught me so much. Hearing stories from them was not only very efficient but also very inspiring. Working in international teams means everyone has something different to add, and that’s what makes the meeting very special and unique. Each country has a different perspective, different experiences and different ways of seeing things. Focusing on improving ideas on youth employment and entrepreneurship also carried such big importance since it is a big issue in many countries including Turkey. It needs innovative ideas and projects to be able to be solved. Hearing those ideas from the participants was very enlightening and inspirational. I overall gained so much more than I had expected at the beginning of the project. It was a very beneficial project that gave birth to many great ideas in all participants’ minds. Building connections and networking with international partners was also an incredible experience and brought so much to me. Everyone worked and contributed a lot to the projects and activities that we carried out. It was an incredible experience that built so many connections and ideas and I was so happy and proud to be a part of it. Hazal BAŞ & Ceyda KÜÇÜKOMUZLU Non-formal education – if used well – can be an efficient tool and a welcoming environment for youngsters with fewer opportunities, who face geographical, social or financial obstacles. However, it can be challenging to reach and engage these communities and bridge the gap between the present needs and the resources available. Recognizing this problem, YouNet has organised an international contact making event, inviting organizations working in this field from 11 countries. Together with Emma Takács we were representing the Hungarian partner, Youth Bridges Budapest, that is involved in sending volunteers abroad, long-term international partnerships and making youth mobility widely available. Along with presenting the organisation’s values and goals in a concise and intriguing way we were focusing on learning as much as possible from the best practices of other nationalities. I was particularly interested in hearing about the future and the representation of youth in rural areas and discussing my experience with experts of the subject. Conversations on the resistance that naturally occurs in older generations and vulnerable groups against non-formal education and on overcoming them has made me more conscious towards a group’s needs as a facilitator. I am grateful to have met so many determined and inspiring youth workers and I hope that the synergy we experienced will blossom into successful collaborations in the future!

Last day of our Contact Making Event! The first part of the day has been dedicated to case study in groups: each group had to reflect on the practices and methods discussed in a case study in which we took some examples of a successful practice or project in a given community. We tried trying to come up with keywords connected to the case studies and to answer to questions like: - What strikes you the most? - Can you implement the same idea or part of it in your home country? Can you take inspiration from that? - What are the element of innovation brought by the case study? - Do you think the project idea is sustainable in the future? How? Afterwards, the entire group discussed all together on reflections and practices studied.
Some time was then dedicated to the YouthPass certificate, and to a networking activity, where it was possible to discuss about present and future projects and initiative ideas from the partners, and to find potential partners to develop them. Today, we started with a short energizer, then we shared the results of yesterday's activity on Erasmus+ challenges: we shared about the characteristics of a perfect partner for a project, how to engage youngsters in the local community, we designed logos and record informational and promotional videos to involve youth in European projects.
Afterwards, we worked in groups to start developing concrete project ideas for youth, taking into consideration different categories such as main idea, target group, value proposition, communication channels, partners and stakeholders. The day began with a lot of energy and excitement due to the cultural visit in Rimini. We had a guided tour in the city in which we saw some historic sights from the Roman era. Later we had some free time and we spread around the city to enjoy the sun and some traditional food of Rimini. In the afternoon, after we returned to the hotel we went all together to the beach and completed some "Erasmus challenges" ikn a funny way. Later, we returned to the hotel where we had a session with some Italian organizations that presented themselves and their work with youngsters. After dinner, we had our intercultural night where everyone presented their country. We singed, payed games, danced typical dances form partner countries , we drunk and ate from all over our countries. Cultural visit in Rimini: Erasmus+ challenges! Intercultural night:
After resting and recharging our batteries, the second day started with even more energy. After some fun energiser we made a research about youth unemployment and NEET in our countries and then we presented the results. Thus we had the opportunity to learn about the situation in different countries, discuss and compare.
In the afternoon ,after another energiser, we divided into groups again and had a world caffe in which we exchange different approaches and good practices in the fields of youth work. After this process we presented the results and then we concluded the day with a short briefing. We started our day at 9 in the morning. Some of us we had already met at night but there were also many new people who hadn't met each other yet. We broke the ice by doing a speed dating with each other and starting interesting conversations which continued even after the session. Furthermore, everyone expressed their expectations, their fears and their contributions to this event through the "Tree of expectations" game, in which we wrote our fears in the roots of a tree, our contributions in the trunk and our expectation in the leaves.
In the afternoon, we got to know each other also in a professional perspective. We performed the activity of "NGOs Bazar", in which we presented out organizations as it was a market and had the opportunity to discuss with others, exchange ideas and good practices. The day concluded with the feedback form and then with a nice dinner that everyone enjoyed. Our Contact Making Event is kicking-off, so the partners finalised the objectives to achieve with the project:
