A Partnership Building Activity to improve quality and inclusion on youth exchanges. It will take place in Barcelona, with the participation of 28 youth workers representing 24 organisations from 20 different countries, with experience in implementation of Erasmus + youth exchanges. The methodology used will be non-formal education, allowing to give voice to all participants.
The main objective of the project is to improve aspects of quality and inclusion in youth exchange projects, paying special attention to the details that make the difference and thus creating a greater impact and multiplying effect on society.
As a result of a joint reflection with other European and local partners, we have identified the need to work on the details that make a difference in a youth project and rethink our role in society as a youth association; how do we work with the group before and after the exchange to encourage their participation?; how do we introduce aspects of social transformation in the contents of a youth exchange?; why it is important to know the partners in person and understand how their associations work?, how do we work on topics such as ecology, gender equality, inclusion, fight against radicalization… in projects that are not specifically on these issues? Are we creative and innovative? Under these concepts we will discuss, share good practices and creative solutions, having the opportunity to develop a strong and effective network of partners based on common interests and developing together projects for the future. The results will be shared with associations all across Europe through an e-book and a video that will collect good practices, non-formal education tools for working with young people and creative ideas for future projects.
