Digitale Homophobie will bring together youth leaders and young leaders to explore the concept of
digital storytelling and the positive impact it can have when used as a method of working with
young homosexuals to promote diversity and inclusion.
Working with young homosexuals is a very sensitive subject that requires particularly cautious approaches
and methods that can provide a safe space for young people to express their problems and
needs without fear of being judged or misunderstood.
In the vast majority of cases, they face various discriminations and challenges in their daily lives,
hence the need to give them the opportunity to talk and reflect on the emotions and problems they
face, while encouraging to focus on the expression and exploration of their identity.
To face this, we want to bring together leaders and young European leaders to highlight their skills.
We want to equip participants with alternative expression methods. They will have the opportunity
to explore the positive impact of the methods during the training and use it as a working approach
with young peers and the general public to promote diversity and inclusion.
The purpose of this training project is to promote diversity and inclusion of young homosexuals
with the following general objectives:
– Train animators and young leaders in the concept of digital storytelling
– Develop the digital skills of young leaders and animators
– Exchanging know-how between participants
