TC in Romania sull’educazione non formale

Participants’ age and profile:

Participants age 18 + , which are youth workers, young leaders, active volunteers in their organizations, volunteer coordinators, staff, and participants willing to improve their skills and competences regarding nonformal education methods, sharing and learning new tools which can be used in working with youth. It is the right place for you if you are working with young people in a non-formal setting, if you want to inspire and motivate young people in reaching their full potential only by using the right tools and techniques, or if you want to improve your practical skills on non-formal education.

Let’s Get it Started” is a training course for 26 youth workers from 11 countries (Armenia, Bulgaria, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Italy, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Turkey), which will take place in northern Romania, in Baia Mare, between 3rd of November and 10th of November 2015 (excluding travel days). The aim is  to give participants the opportunity to learn and experiment different methods of non-formal education in order to help and empower young people they are working with to develop various skills and aptitudes needed in their personal and professional development for increasing their employability chances. Also, in turn, participants will gain skills, aptitudes and competences necessary in their youth work.


– Promoting non-formal education among youth workers

– Stimulating youth workers by experimenting various non-formal education methods, in order to feel and reflect on the importance of non-formal education on the personal and professional development of young people

– To raise awareness on how non-formal education methods can be used to promote cultural diversity and intercultural learning

– To develop specific skills and competences among youth workers, needed in creating and sharing good quality non-formal education methods for young people

– To explore how the non-formal education can be used in order to empower young people and to develop their spirit of initiative and entrepreneurship

– To re-evaluate youth work and practices

– To explore roles and differences between formal, non-formal and informal education

– To promote the Erasmus+ Programme and the various European mobility opportunities

– Designing and developing new project ideas in Erasmus+ Programme, especially in cooperation with partner countries

– Recognition of the learning outcomes through the Youthpass instrument

Financial conditions:

– Food, accommodation and activities are 100% covered by the project

– Travel costs are 100% covered by the project up to a maximum of € 275

– “Quota associativa YouNet”: €50. These membership fees should be paid only by confirmed participants and give them the status of YouNet’s member and access to all our benefits.

As a result of the participation in this project, will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
