The EU Employment and Social Situation, as well the labor market situation remains very difficult for young people under the age of 25, with an unemployment rate that remained unchanged at 16.90 percent in July from 16.90 percent in June of 2017, the employment growth benefits mainly older workers age 55 to 64. Young people remain hit by underemployment and feel discouraged to look for work and when it’s about Roma youngsters the figures are even bigger, considering that majority of Roma live on the margins of society and unemployment goes high up to 70% in some countries. To support the transition from school to work, the Commission has proposed Country
Specific Recommendations to its Members on improving public employment services, education and training, boosting apprenticeships, and urgently implementing the Youth Guarantee which is a new approach to tackling youth unemployment.


– To increase the capacity of youth workers, social workers and volunteers in counseling and guiding youngsters to choose a career or get a job;
– To increase the knowledge of the participants in how to use Life Acting Role Play(LARP) in preparing youngsters to search a job and prepare for an interview;
– To increase the knowledge of 24 participants about the European dimension of
employment, the European employment policy;
– To increase the knowledge of 24 participants about youth guarantee and about Eures – the European job mobility portal;
– To develop a better understanding of the situation of youth unemployment in Europe;
– To develop the cooperation and youth participation to fight unemployment among young people.

Financial conditions:
– Food, accommodation and activities are 100% covered by the project;
– Travel costs are 100% covered by the project up to a maximum of € 275;
– “Quota associativa YouNet”: €50. These membership fees should be paid only by   confirmed participants and give tahem the status of YouNet’s member and access to all   our benefits.

As a result of the participation in this project, it will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
