Participants’ age and profile:

  • be committed and motivated to actively attend the full duration of the project (the entire duration of the TC and the follow-up activities)
  • be a human rights activist/ defender and have experience in working with human rights issues
  • need to develop interpersonal skills, communication skills, skills and competences in relation to human rights issues, values such as empathy and tolerance, a sense of self awareness and assertiveness in order to improve the way they perceive and interact with the beneficiaries they target in the activities in the origin community
  • interest in experiencing different methods of non-formal education and social inclusion methods in order to build skills and values needed in building acceptance and a broader understanding of equality and diversity
  • have intercultural background
  • open-minded
  • open to new challenges
  • medium – high level of English
  • be over 18 years old.

Description:

#yeshumanity’s main purpose is to enhance the quality and sustainability of human rights related activities of youth organizations throughout Europe. The project’s objectives:

  • To enhance individual skills and competencies of 22 youth workers from 5 different EU countries within a 12 days training course in relation to human rights issues;
  • To establish quality approaches in human rights related projects for 6 organizations working with young people with fewer opportunities in Europe.

Financial conditions:

  • Food, accommodation and activities are 100% covered by the project;
  • Travel costs are 100% covered by the project up to a maximum of € 530;
  • “Quota associativa YouNet”: €50. These membership fees should be paid only by confirmed participants and give them the status of YouNet’s member and access to all our benefits;
  • Participation fee: 50 euro per participant can be deducted from the reimbursement or can be paid in cash at the training course.

As a result of the participation in this project, will be issued a European certification (“Youthpass”) certifying the skills gained and valid for the European CV.
