Fix in Art is an independent cultural organization and a creative community space based in Epanomi, Greece. The organization works in the fields of art, non-formal education, sustainability, social inclusion, and youth work, promoting active participation, conscious citizenship, and intercultural dialogue.
Through Erasmus+ and ESC projects, artistic workshops, community activities, and environmental initiatives, Fix in Art creates safe and inclusive spaces where young people from diverse cultural backgrounds can learn, create, and grow together.
ESC Volunteering – Fix in Art Community Project

DESCRIPTION
The ESC volunteer will be involved in the daily activities of the Fix in Art community, contributing to artistic, educational, and social initiatives aimed at young people and the local community.
Activities include supporting creative workshops, environmental sustainability projects, cultural events, non-formal education activities, and community initiatives. The volunteer will have space to propose ideas, develop their own activities, and actively participate in shared community life.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support artistic workshops, cultural events, and educational activities
Participate in sustainability projects (community garden, recycling, zero-waste initiatives)
Collaborate in social inclusion activities and community living
Support communication and documentation of activities
Participate in awareness-raising campaigns and local events
Contribute to the management and care of shared spaces
VOLUNTEER PROFILE
Young people aged 18 to 30
Interest in art, creativity, sustainability, and youth work
Openness to working in a community-based and intercultural context
Initiative, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
Good command of English
Not having previously participated in a long-term ESC project
CONDITIONS OFFERED

ABOUT THE LOCATION
Epanomi is a nature-surrounded area close to Thessaloniki, offering an ideal environment for community living, creativity, and sustainability. The rural setting and strong connection with the local community make the experience at Fix in Art unique and deeply formative.
