TRATWA Association – Wrocław, Poland

TRATWA Association is a non-governmental organisation based in Wrocław. Its history began in 1997 with the creation of a Non-Governmental Information Centre supporting people affected by a major flood in southwestern Poland.

Today, TRATWA focuses on the development of the third sector, supporting young people at risk of exclusion through non-formal education, and promoting volunteering, intercultural and intergenerational awareness, and mutual respect.

Over the years, TRATWA has renovated and developed two former tram depots in Wrocław, Czasoprzestrzeń and PPM Zajezdnia, which are now spaces for local communities, volunteers, artists and young people. They host workshops, events, festivals, activities, language classes and community initiatives.

The organisation is looking for proactive and motivated young people who want to gain international experience, develop intercultural competences and contribute to the local community.
