Applicant of this project is “Junta da Freguesia de Ermesinde” (JFE). In organizational terms, JFE has a standard structure, subordinated to a democratically elected representative. In a large organizational chart, the following areas are highlighted: culture, education, social action, environment, youth, sports, free time activities, citizenship and civic participation and entrepreneurship. Each of these departments has teams with high competences and experience in organizing and booster the local community, developing various initiatives for the promotion of the various valences for the action areas mentioned, which rules the organization.

The project focuses on promoting intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, active citizenship, environmental awareness, and youth participation through volunteering, cultural exchange, education, sports, and community activities across Europe.

DESCRIPTION
The project “Y(our) way” focuses on promoting intercultural dialogue, social inclusion, environmental awareness, active citizenship, and European values through volunteering, community engagement, youth activities, cultural exchange, sports, and multimedia initiatives in Ermesinde, Portugal.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Summer camp activities with children
- Promotion of cultural exchange and intercultural learning
- Organization of cultural and community events
- Support in environmental awareness campaigns and sustainability activities
- Development of sport and community activities
- Creation of multimedia and graphic content (videos, presentations, news, social media)
- Promotion of European mobility and ESC opportunities
- Participation in Eurodesk and youth-related activities
- Support local organizations and community initiatives
- Development of personal volunteer projects

CONDITIONS OFFERED
- Accommodation provided according to ESC standards
- Pocket money: 180€ per month
- Food allowance: 150€ per month
- Travel cost reimbursement according to ESC rules
