Youth for Equality is an organization founded in Slovakia as a local youth initiative with the aim of implementing positive changes and developing activities at the local and international level in the fields of education, labor market, environment, youth participation for the personal and professional development of youth and their integration into society. The organization is made up of a group of young professionals who provide advice and organize educational activities with the aim of helping young people improve their skills and knowledge, discover useful educational and career opportunities at the local and international level.

DESCRIPTION:
The “Young Leaders” ESC volunteering opportunity takes place in Trnava, Slovakia, organized by Youth for Equality, a non-profit organization focused on education, human rights, and community development. The project aims to support young people in developing soft skills such as communication, teamwork, leadership, and creativity through non-formal education methods like workshops, discussions, and group activities.Volunteers will support activities in schools, organize workshops and events, participate in discussion clubs, and help with community projects. They can also contribute to social media, collaborate with local organizations such as libraries and charities, and even create their own initiatives. The project promotes inclusion by working with diverse groups, including youth, and individuals with fewer opportunities.
VOLUNTEER PROFILE:
- Aged 18-30
- motivated, open-minded, and willing to learn
- basic level of English
- interest in working with young people and the local community
CONDITIONS OFFERED:
Food allowance: 200 € / month
Pocket money: 180 € / month
Accommodation in shared flats
