#developtogether

Supporting the employability and social integration at local and European level of NEET young people and those with fewer opportunities is the main objective of #developtogether, a KA2 Capacity Building in the field of Youth project funded by the Erasmus+ Programme.

The partnership brings together organisations from EU Member States and Eastern European partner countries, including Moldova, Georgia, Ukraine, Armenia, and Belarus.

The specific objectives of the project are:

  • To develop the partnership’s knowledge of the Youth Worker Competence Model;

  • To promote non-formal education methods for NEET young people, with a particular focus on the application of gamification in the learning process;

  • To increase the employability potential of NEET young people through the development of transversal (soft) skills;

  • To create a mobile application and a paper-based diary for the self-assessment and validation of acquired competences, targeting both young people and youth workers;

  • To promote European policies in the fields of volunteering, skills development, and the Erasmus+ Programme.

Several activities will be implemented over the 24-month duration of the project, including:

  • Kick-off meeting in Chișinău, Moldova;

  • Training course in Moldova;

  • Training course in Belgium;

  • Local Labs (implemented by participants of the training courses);

  • Final conference in Moldova;

  • Dissemination activities.

From 17 June to 2 July, we had the honour of hosting three job shadowers within the framework of the “Develop Together” programme.
Nica from Georgia, Nikolai from Moldova, and Victora from Ukraine spent two weeks in our office, observing how an association operates and contributing with their own perspectives and knowledge.

We are very happy to have hosted them and wish them all the best for the future.
