BEWARE is a strategic partnership project funded by the Erasmus+ programme, created in response to the need to raise awareness among young people about the correct use of cyberspace, with a particular focus on the importance of personal data protection and the risks of cyberbullying.
During the 18 months of project implementation, the partners from Italy, Malta, France, and Romania will work closely with young people in their local communities in order to:
Develop the skills of 13 youth workers in the field of cyberbullying prevention through the organization of two transnational training courses in Malta and Italy;
Carry out training and awareness-raising activities with 75 young people with fewer opportunities, aiming to strengthen their ability to protect themselves against the risks of cyberbullying and to enable them to become multipliers of the project’s results;
Involve the 75 young people with fewer opportunities in the organization of a series of awareness-raising events and non-formal activities addressed to young people in their local areas.
By using non-formal education and peer education methodologies, the project aims to make young people both the “target group” and the protagonists of awareness-raising and training activities within their local and national communities.
The project results will be brought together in a two-chapter guide and an online educational game, both available in English, French, Romanian, and Italian.
