YouNet Reggio Emilia

The association YouNet-Reggio Emilia is the sister association of YouNet APS and was born for the implementation of training and international mobility projects on the territory of Reggio Emilia and Parma within the Erasmus+ programme.

The main mission of YouNet-Reggio Emilia, through the realization of vocational and educational placement projects, is to strengthen the employability of young people and facilitate their transition into the labour market thanks to the multifaceted experience of transnational mobility.

In order to achieve this, YouNet-Reggio Emilia promotes and takes care of the organization at local and international level of voluntary activities and short, medium and long-term training activities. Volunteers and employees thus acquire awareness and strategic skills on European project management, in particular on the Erasmus+ programme.

All our initiatives aim to build an inclusive and tolerant society that is based on dialogue to support and encourage active citizenship, by promoting the growth of the European and intercultural dimension by placing the emphasis on young people and local authorities with whom we collaborate.

We believe that our mobility, volunteering and technical-professional training initiatives can lead to the renewal of the traditional education system and the promotion and exchange with local realities.

Our goals

Contribute to the development and renewal of the education system, the third sector and the entire non-profit world as a socio-cultural and economic driver of a more equitable and supportive society.

Support and encourage mobility training and active citizenship, particularly among young and/or disadvantaged people.

Give visibility to, facilitate and promote access to a European and intercultural dimension, combating racism and xenophobia and supporting respect for and appreciation of cultural diversity and mutual understanding.

Promote training, exchange and networking among organisations and individuals working in the world of education and the third sector.

Promote and support local and international volunteering and transnational mobility as tools for social intervention and the construction of an inclusive, tolerant society based on intercultural dialogue.
