Simone's experience in Portugal

What does it mean to work in a library and be curious? Quite simply, it means finding your desk covered with comics, art books, design books and magazines.

My path within the library is to become fully functional, and this will happen through a series of stages, starting with studying bibliography and learning the Portuguese language.

Now, when you have a lot of time to read, you can indulge in any interest, such as a book on Portuguese cuisine and dishes to try, the Swedish Lagom way of life, or the history of religions.

The purpose of these studies is not only to increase my knowledge on various subjects, but above all to be able to navigate the shelves more easily and have a mental order on the scientific division, in order to be useful to library users. In addition, reading increases my learning of Portuguese vertically! Não é!?

In the first one, they had to prepare the stages of the walk, in which the children who arrived at each one had to read the right of the stop and obtained a gadget. In the second one, my task was to provide logistical support, setting up and dismantling the show or sales structures.

My life here is going very smoothly. I am immersed in a sea of Portuguese people, but thanks to the friends I have made here, I am navigating it very well.
